Israel: Palestinian driver attacks police officers

JERUSALEM – Israeli authorities say a Palestinian rammed a bulldozer into a bus and police car, wounding two officers before being shot dead.

Israeli police are calling the Thursday incident a terrorist attack. It appears to be the latest in a string of attacks by militants using construction vehicles against Israeli targets.

Police say the bus that was hit was not carrying passengers. They say the two officers were lightly hurt.
